Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice explains how Monique Nolen, sole proprietor trading as Soul Check ("we", "us", "our"), collects and processes personal data when you use soulcheck1.life and related services (the "Service"). Monique Nolen is the data controller.

1. Personal data we collect

• Account data: name, email, hashed password, authentication identifiers.
• Request data: prayer requests, minister requests, fasting group sign-ups, and any messages you submit.
• Transaction data: order metadata (product, amount, status). Card details are handled by Paddle and never reach our servers.
• Usage/telemetry: pages viewed, device type, browser, approximate location derived from IP, and error logs.
• Support data: the content of any emails or messages you send us.

2. Purposes and legal basis

• Provide and operate the Service (contract performance).
• Process purchases, donations, and lifetime memberships via our Merchant of Record (contract performance).
• Respond to prayer/minister requests and support inquiries (contract / legitimate interests).
• Security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection (legitimate interests, legal obligation).
• Service improvement and analytics (legitimate interests).
• Email updates where you have opted in (consent).

3. Data sharing

We share personal data only with:

• Paddle.com Market Ltd. — our Merchant of Record for the sale of products, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing. See Paddle's Privacy Policy.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers (Lovable Cloud / Supabase) that store data and run the application.
• Email and communication providers used to deliver transactional and support emails.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) when reasonably necessary.
• Authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.

4. International transfers

Data may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States and the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, to comply with legal obligations, and to resolve disputes. Account and order records are typically retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes; other data is deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. EEA/UK users may lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email myfathershelper@outlook.com. We aim to respond within one month.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and managed-database security to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure.

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. Analytics or marketing cookies, if added later, will be disclosed and (where required) consent will be requested.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
